cute puppy
I been gabbing a bit, lately. Well, email gabbing, but it's all talk. Yes, yes, I've been swanking around with interviews instead of doing the right thing by my nearest and dearest. I am a bad, bad friend ... but an obedient author. *g*

So here are the links to the two most recent interviews:

Firstly, foe me talking about Star Wars and Wild Space and life in general, go here. Many thanks to the wonderful guys at The Clone Warz.net website for giving me the chance to blather on.

Secondly, here is me talking in English to the wonderful people of Elbakin.net in France. And look, here's me again, in French. If only I were truly so fluently bilingual!

In other news, The Accidental Sorcerer received a top marks 4 star review in Romantic Times magazine. It releases in the US (and the UK) in January. I have other exciting news about the book, but can't share it yet. Soon!

Now I must push on with Prodigal Mage. Stay tuned ...

OmG! Can't wait for AS - the girls at LB are sick of my nagging already. Grin.

We are going back to Bruges for the Xmas markets so I will be buying copies of your books in Flemish...I think it's Flemish...regardless, I can read it, so it's cool. And will get Mark to download the pics on his phone to send you!

I'm so behind on my f-list.

So. Stopping by to say hi. I was in a bookshop yesterday (yesterday was Friday, right? Then yes, yesterday) and saw your name, and there were your books! So I thought of you.

You know, if you don't mention the translation part, you can totally pretend you really are that fluent in French...

Here's a question, just out of sheer curiosity: how does the interviewing process work for these things? Do they quote you verbatim, or paraphrase?

Blushblushblush. Have to say, the whole deal is still waaaaay beyond surreal. I have to do a double-take and really pinch myself. This is my life? Since when? Aaaarrgghhhh!

As for the French, well, I am going to get fluent. I did it in school, remembered a lot when I was in Paris a few weeks ago ... and want to reconnect.

Most of the interviews I do are via email, so they just reprint what I've written. So far I've never had any problems with being misquoted or anything. My fingers are crossed ... *g*

So you get all the time you need to write the perfect answer to each question. Brilliant. *G*

Ain't technology grand - and however did we cope before we had it?!

Have just read the interview. *Blush*. What a lovely thing to say. You are a doll and deserve every bit of success that comes your way...

I speak only the truth. I was cursed by fairy at birth, you see, to run my mouth ... *g*

You're welcome. And thank you.
