I agree! I am a girl and I would have been on Team Han all the way! I even had the action figures! Both my daughters were Starwars and scifi girls too. I do not know where someone could get the idea that girls did not like Star Wars?

I think the "I'm not like the other girls." is a misconception. I think girls have always been not like the other girls, though you need to add to the statement "I'm not like the other girls, that television and popular media portray as what girls are like."
